What to watch on Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video this weekend – India Today

The psychological thriller has created a great deal of buzz among fans as it marks Babil Khan's acting debut. Qala revolves around a popular singer (Triptii Dimri) who is haunted by her past. Qala is directed by Anvita Dutt. It premiered on Netflix on December 1. Here's our review.

My Name Is Vendetta
The Italian-language crime drama is directed by Cosimo Gomez. It is headlined by Alessandro Gassman and Ginevra Francesconi. My Name Is Vendetta revolves around a mafia enforcer who is forced to flee to Milan with his daughter to escape from dangerous foes. It released on Netflix on November 30.
A Man of Action

A Man of Action is based on the life of Lucio Urtubia, a Spanish anarchist. The film, directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera, features Miki Esparbé and Juan José Ballesta in the lead. It released on November 30.
Lady Chatterley’s Lover
The Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre-helmed romantic drama is based on DH Lawrence's novel of the same name. Its cast is headlined by Emma Corrin and Jack O'Connell. Lady Chatterley’s Lover premiered on December 2.
The Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna-led Goodbye opened in theatres on October 7 and ended up being a flop. The film is set to stream on Netflix from December 2.

Love Today
Director Pradeep Ranganathan's Love Story starring himself and Ivana is a romantic comedy. The film talks about modern-day relationships. When the girl's father asks the boyfriend and girlfriend to exchange their phones, everything changes between them.
Nitham Oru Vaanam
Helmed by Ra Karthik, Nitham Oru Vaanam is a romantic drama featuring Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali and Shivathmika Rajasekhar. The film is about a young man, who has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). As he stumbles upon two stories, he goes in search to know about the ending.

The Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F-starrer is about a seemingly loner dentist, who has a dark side to him. Touted as a romantic thriller, it promises to keep audiences hooked with some shocking twists. The Shashanka Ghosh film has been streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from December 2.

Directed by Vysakh, Monster is a crime thriller starring Mohanlal, Honey Rose, Lakshmi Manchu in important roles. Lucky Singh is an entrepreneur from Punjab, who enters the lives of Anil Chandra and Bhamini. How he changes the course of their lives forms the story.
A spin-off of the popular film of the same name, the series brings back the original hero, Willow Ufgood, along with all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters. The series is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 30.

Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie
Written and directed by Andrew Louis, Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie features Sanjana, SJ Suryah, Laila and Nasser in key roles. The series starts with the death of Velonie. SJ Suryah's Vivek investigates the murder to find out the killer.

A Unicorn For Christmas
The film's storyline follows a young girl who discovers a real-life unicorn at a Christmas carnival. She tries to protect it from a greedy fair owner. The film releases on December 3.
Your Christmas or Mine?
A December 2 release, the film is about a new couple who accidentally end up spending Christmas with each other's family.
Three Pines
Alfred Molina plays Chief Inspector Armand Gamache in this French detective series that releases on December 2. He unravels a series of murders in an idyllic township.

1996 Dharmapuri
Hanumantha Rao, the Sarpanch of Dharmapuri, has a foster kid named Suri, who falls for a girl, Malli. Her mother disapproves of him and asks Laxmi Rajyam Patel, his father's political opponent, to intervene. Will the Sarpanch go by the rules or will he help the lovebirds?

Ace and the Christmas Miracle
The quirky holiday comedy is about Amanda (Brande Roderick), whose happily ever after is wrecked by an unfair divorce. Now, she must come up with a plan to secure her 10-year-old son Daniel's future before it's too late. During the Annual California Wine Country Christmas Derby, Amanda meets two misfits, down on their luck, to execute her plan. With the help of a talking Horse named Ace and his racehorse friends, Amanda finds her way to the miracle she never expected. The film will stream on Lionsgate Play from December 2.

A Gingerbread Christmas
A Gingerbread Christmas premiered on Discovery + on December 1, 2022. The film stars Tiya Sircar and Marc Bendavid. The story of the film revolves around the life of 'Hazel, who goes to spend the holidays in her home town, where a romance begins to bloom with a local contractor who has been helping her father with their family bakery, but some misunderstandings threaten to tear them apart.'
Rakt Season 1
Season 1 of Rakt will stream on the platform from December 2, 2022. The official synopsis of the series is as follows: "The bone-chilling tales of deceit and betrayal are brought to light from the exotic ruins of the real locations. Season 1 takes one through the story of Narayan Rao who was made a Peshwa at the age of 17 in 1772. Anandi Bai, his aunt, became ferociously envious of this premature ascent to the throne. With the help of the guard Sumer Singh Gardi, Raghunath devised a strategy to capture Narayan. Instead of just an arrest, Anandi Bai's manipulation of the orders led to Narayan's terrible murder."

Slow Horses Season 2
Slow Horses is a spy thriller. It premiered on Apple TV+ on December 2, 2022. It is based on the novels of Mick Herron. The first season of the series premiered in April this year.

That Kind of Summer
The series directed by Denis Cote revolves around three women who are invited to a rest home to explore their sexual issues and spend their days and nights trying to tame their inner demons. The series released on December 1 on Mubi.
The Kingdom Exodus
The Lars von Trier film is a Danish supernatural horror which is set in the neurosurgical ward of Copenhagen's Rigs Hospital. The miniseries will release on Mubi on December 4.
